Layer 02 Design is led by Design Director Ben Tseng, is a talented Architect/designer who specialises in creating unique first-person experiences. Ben's passion for interactive design has seen him explore new possibilities in the field, constantly striving to refine and improve his work.

Ben's professional experience include working for David Miller Architects (London), Foster + Partners (London) and contributing to various Red Sea projects in Saudi Arabia with a focus on high-end hospitality designs (hotels, restaurants and clubhouses). He was also one of the executive architects on the prestigious residential project Orla by Omniyat - Dorchester Collection at the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

In addition to his professional work, Ben is also a passionate educator and mentor, serving as a unit tutor at DR50 and founding moooarch.com and studio • mOOO, both of which provide a platform for architects to learn and share ideas. His work has been recognised by the Architects' Journal, which featured his social work in the field. Prior to professional work at the University of Edinburgh, Ben received full academic scholarship, and was once a guest lecturer for the MArch Design and Technology research module.
